Waking up early

Ugh, I hate waking up early! I had to be up and out of the house at 7:30 today, and I'm totally lagging it. Anyone have any tips for forcing yourself out of bed? I've heard cold water, but it's already winter and it's bordering on painful.

  1. try putting your alarm clock really far from your bed... that way you have to get out of bed to turn it off. works for me :)

  2. Alarm clock far away from the bed is the best idea. I find waking to be by far the hardest part of my day. (Easy life lol)

  3. Turn on the lights. It stops the production of Melatonin (regulates your body clock) which will help you get up.

  6. I have a couple things I do. The first thing I do is that I have the alarm set away from my bed so that I have to stand up to get to it (or jump as is the case some mornings). After that I take a shower right afterwards. Followed by coffee.
